Religious Affairs Directorate to educate orphans

The Religious Affairs Directorate (DİB) and Family and Social Policies Ministry have taken a decision to educate orphans following the signature of a recent protocol.

According to the protocol, commissions composed of staff from both bodies will be formed in every province. The commissions will determine whether the protocols are being applied and outline plans to coordinate the education program.

Officers from the Religious Affairs Directorate will visit orphans living in places like kindergartens, dorms, orphanages and social rehabilitation centers to discuss religious matters. According to the protocol, local muftis’ offices will also engage with the children.
