Ramadan cookbook signing in Beyazıt
Author Nilgün Tatlı will be signing her book, “100 Dishes of Istanbul,” at the 31st Turkish Book and Culture Fair which is to take place in Istanbul’s historical neighborhood Beyazıt on July 28. The author is also expected to give a talk about the Ramadan recipes favored most in Ottoman palaces. Published by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s publishing house, as part of its Istanbul’s 100 Faces series, the book has 11 chapters devoted to soups, meat dishes, seafood, olive oil dishes, salads, pickles, beans, pastries, milk products and sherbets.
