Putin to come to Turkey in December

Russian President Vladimir Putin will come to Turkey on Dec. 3 after his scheduled visit early next week was postponed yesterday, daily Hürriyet has reported.

Putin's trip was delayed due to red tape, a spokesman for the president confirmed today.

“The reason for postponing the visit is a delay in the finalization of some preparations for the High Level Cooperation Council due to bureaucracy,” a senior Turkish diplomat told the Hürriyet Daily News yesterday.
