PKK roadside bomb kills twovillage guards in Turkey's southeast

Two village guards were killed and another was wounded by an outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) roadside bomb attack in the southeastern province of Şırnak on Aug. 6, a security source said.The source said PKK militants detonated the bomb in the Beytüşşebap district during the passing of village guards.
Two guards died at Beytüşşebap State Hospital; the wounded guard was sent to Şırnak military hospital, the source added.
An air-supported operation to apprehend the militants responsible for the attack is still underway.
