Piri Reis exhibit at Four Seasons

The “Piri Reis’ Secret in Glaze” opened at the Four Seasons Sultanahmet over the weekend in honor of the 500th anniversary of the world map that cartographer Piri Reis prepared.

The exhibition includes 90 pieces and was prepared by Fahri Cetinkaya, an expert tile maker whose works have been shown in more than 40 countries and has represented Turkey in foreign and local fairs under the sponsorship of the Tourism and Culture Ministry and the Foreign Affairs Ministry. The exhibition is free and can be visited until Dec. 31 everyday from 10 to 6 p.m.
