Van cats adopted with 'international health certificate' in Turkey
An internationally valid "health certificate" is prepared for Van cats, visited by local and foreign tourists, within a project to protect their generations and increasing their numbers. (AA Photo)
Health certificates with information such as name, breed, gender, eye color, date of birth, tail feature, color, hearing status and identity are given to people who want to adopt cats.
Van cats, world-famous for their different eye colors and white hair, are looked after carefully in the Van Cat Villa where they are under protection.
Van Cat Villa, which receives visitors every season, has been closed to visitors for a while this year due to the pandemic.
