A group of Russian bloggers, whose total social media reach extends to millions, have been mobilized by a Turkish town. Here is the photo story
As part of the tourism campaign, Russian bloggers started to promote Turkey’s Black Sea town of Samsun this week
Doğan News Agency reported that the campaign was launched after flights between Samsun and the Russian city of Krasnodar started.
They share photos of the Turkish town’s landmarks, streets, hotels, golf courses, beaches and other venues
Thirty Russian bloggers arrived in Samsun and started to share their experiences, the municipality’s cultural and social policies department manager Necmi Camaş reportedly said.
The tourism campaign was funded by the municipality, the governor’s office and Central Black Sea Development Agency, as well as Samsun’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
