According to the report, air quality in 80 out of 81 provinces in Turkey is below global standards.
In Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city, air quality differs between districts. While Esenyurt and Kadıköy have the most polluted air in Istanbul, Ümraniye has the cleanest.
In Ankara, the district of Kayaş has the worst air, while Demetevler has the best.
Among İzmir districts, Karşıya has the most polluted air by far, while Çiğli has the cleanest.
