Turkey pledges help as Greece fights against deadly fire
Turkey has said it is ready to help its neighbor Greece fight against a growing fire in the eastern part of Athens that has left dozens of people dead. Click through for the story in photos...

Later on July 24, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. Erdoğan expressed his “deep sorrow” over the deaths from the wildfires. He also extended condolences to the people of Greece and wished a quick recovery for those who were injured in the fires. “We share Greece’s pain,” Erdoğan said, while offering help.
