The ancient city of Miletos in the Didim district of Aegean Aydın province was one of the prominent cities in the fields of philosophy, science, and art in the ancient Greek civilization.
Miletos, where the famous philosopher and mathematician Thales also lived, is known as the "city of philosophers."
Excavations are ongoing in the ancient city, aimed at unearthing traces of daily life in the archaic times.
