The population of mountain gazelles, residing near the Syrian border in Turkey’s southern province of Hatay, has been increasing in a pleasing manner. (AA Photo)
The species called “Gazella gazella” had a population of about 150 during the first counting in 2009. By the end of 2020, their numbers increased to 1,141.
