Turkish Airlines pilot Ünsal had become famous after saving the life of a passenger, who had a heart attack, by making an emergency landing in Istanbul in 2016.
Demirören News Agency reported on Oct. 3 that Ünsal ended her career as a pilot due to health problems.
Turkish Airlines kept Ünsal at the company in a recent board decision by appointing her as a marketing chief in Los Angeles.
