Construction of the houses at new public park at the Paşabahçe picnic area, inspired by the blockbuster film “The Lord of the Rings,” was completed on Aug. 3 by the Sivas Municipality, Demirören News Agency reported.
As the first seven houses drew interest from local and foreign tourists, the municipality had continued to build new houses and now increased their number to 24.
Sivas Mayor Sami Aydın said that the Turkish hobbit houses "are better than the ones built in Finland."
