Heavy rain had hit Turkey's Black Sea provinces in the first days of the week, damaging dozens of buildings and plantations. The swept away hazelnut trees and shrubs have washed ashore, Demirören News Agency reported on Aug. 11.
Locals in Ordu collected hazelnuts from the sea.
According to the Health Ministry, one person died and 10 were injured in the floods.
