‘Crying Rocks’ in Turkey’s east attract nature lovers’ attention
A wonder of nature, “Crying Rocks” (“Ağlayan Kayalar” in Turkish) in Turkey’s eastern Tunceli province is among nature lovers’ favorite destinations
The villagers called the geological wonder “Crying Rocks,” because there is water constantly dripping over the rocks.
The rocks gather attention in all seasons, from summer to winter, with its abundant greenery and breezy air.
In the winter, the water from the source freezes and the drops become icicles.
Located near the Hılbeş bridge over the Tunceli-Erzincan highway, the “Crying Rocks” are located 20 meters above the ground.
