Colosseum-like structure in Turkey attracts attention
Discovered in the Aegean province of Aydın, an ancient structure, which looks similar to Italy’s famous Colosseum amphitheater, has been attracting the attention of onlookers.
Located in Aydın’s Nazilli district, the archaic structure was discovered in February during excavations in the ancient city of Mastaura.
Works have started to revive the structure, which has many parts underground.
