Professor Dr. Bilal Söğüt, the head of the excavation team, said that his team has been working intensely for the ancient theatre to be used in events.
The ancient city of Stratonikeia was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2015.
It is one of the most important historical centers of the Yatağan region and is known as the “City of Gladiators” because of the biggest sports school located in the region.
