Pervin Çakar on stage with Çellİstanbul

Drawing constant international attention with her critically acclaimed festival appearances and her performances at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Pervin Çakar will be on stage with Çellİstanbul tonight at the Hagia Irene Museum. The concert repertoire includes Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Air,” George Gershwin’s “Collage,” Maurice Ravel’s “Pavane pour une infante défunte,“ Astor Piazzolla’s “Oblivion,” Tuluğ Tırpan’s “Âşık Veysel: Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım,” Franz Schubert’s “Die Biene,” Johann Strauss’ “Neue Pizzicato-Polka,” and Georges Bizet’s “Excerpts from Carmen Fantasy.” The concert starts at 8 p.m. and tickets aer available at Biletix booths.
