Palestinian president meets President Gül

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Abdullah Gül in Tarabya yesterday. Abbas briefed Gül about the latest situation in Palestine.The two also discussed the recent developments in Syria and Egypt. The Palestinian leader was scheduled to meet with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan late yesterday.
Before his meeting with Abbas, Erdoğan met with his Georgian counterpart, Nika Gilauri, at the Prime Ministry’s office in Istanbul yesterday. Erdoğan also met with Tunisian Prime Minister Hammadi Cibali at the Prime Ministry office yesterday. All of the meetings were closed to the press.
