Oyak rolls off 4 millionth car

Oyak Renault, the French carmaker’s subsidiary in
Turkey, produced its 4 millionth car at its Bursa plant on March 31. “We began in 1971 with only 368 employees, manufacturing 514 cars a year for the domestic market. Today with a family of 6,000 co-workers, we are making hundreds of thousands of cars for our customers on five continents,” Tarık Tunalıoğlu, director general of Oyak-Renault Car Plants, said at a ceremony marking the event.
