At least, do not defend the kick
At least just once…
Only once, just say, “Yes, we have made a mistake…”
Once in a lifetime, break this sleazy “Don’t let it out of this room” principle…
Only once, for God’s sake. Just once, accept that even “your guys” can make a mistake and do some terrible things. At least, do not defend this man who kicked a protestor already warded off by the police.
Let go… Do not be an accomplice to this vulgar act, that treacherous kick…
For three seconds, take out your hands out of your pockets, from your wallets and put them on your conscience. Listen to its voice, if there is any left there…
No matter what you write, what you say, what excuse you find, you will just not be able to defend that man…
Know that it is not possible to legitimize that act
Whatever excuse you may utter, it will evaporate the moment it is out of your mouth; whereas, that photograph is engraved in memories, as a document of the treatment of a citizen during a certain era.
You, Mr. Hüseyin Çelik, do not forget; you are talking on behalf of the Justice and Development Party (AKP). Do not join this chorus, do not become an accomplice to that kick…
Let’s assume the chief advisor has defended the perfidious kicks of his officemate next door and tried to make up excuses for these kicks…
At least you, you should not be fooled by this huge lie…
At least, you should not applaud this hubris, this manner of seeing the citizen as a fly, this arrogance.
If you do, that kick will become the government’s kick at its own citizen… In other words, as evidence of arrogance, hubris, scorn, disdain…
[HH] Why are all fingers abroad pointing at Erdoğan?
There are two countries. In one, which is the best in the world in digital technology and automotive technology, a country which has created a digital giant such a Samsung, a ship sank with students inside… It was the stupidity of a captain; an obvious neglect…
I searched international media. There were criticisms, the story was a major one, but nobody was questioning the South Korean miracle. Nobody stepped up and said a word to the prime minister. But the prime minister of that country took responsibility. Why? The reason is that it is the morals of the Far East.
Look at the accident in here. Whose stupidity, whose neglect is it, we do not know yet. However, all eyes from the international world are on Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. All the fingers are pointing at him. His term is being questioned. Did you ever think why?
My opinion is that Erdoğan has created such a bad image for the entire world after the Gezi incidents that any bad thing happening in Turkey is recorded on his column.
In other words, what goes around comes around… Since he is the only man, he is the only one responsible…
A rescue chamber for us each
We are exhausted. They exhausted us big time; both our bodies and our personalities… Also our consciences…
They smothered us with hubris and a rudeness that history has not seen. Every Tuesday, a mine gas has exploded in our souls. For 12 years, our fists were always clenched. The larynxes were never set free… We always, always hear insults, contempt, accusations.
We are all very tired. They have exhausted us greatly.
We all need a rescue chamber to save ourselves from this heavy carbon monoxide…
A rescue chamber for each of us, where we can take shelter so that we do not see these scandals, where we would not hear these insults, contempt, where we won’t be poisoned by the carbon monoxide coming out of shoe boxes…
