OneRepublic to perform in Istanbul for first time

American pop-rock band OneRepublic is scheduled to take the stage for the first time in Istanbul on May 30.

OneRepublic is expected to perform many of their hit songs, including “Dreaming Out Loud” and “Waking Up,” alongside tracks from its most successful album “Native” at the Volkswagen Arena. 

Founded in 2003 by Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Ryan Tedder - who has written many hits for stars like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, U2, Maroon 5, Adele and Jennifer Lopez - OneRepublic released its first album “Dreaming Out Loud” in 2007 in collaboration with producer Timbaland. 

OneRepublic found immediate success with their debut single “Apologize” and have sold more than eight million singles. 

The band soon cracked the charts again with songs like “Stop and Stare,” “Secrets” and “Feel Again,” receiving critical acclaim and public support.  The group received three nominations at the Billboard Music Awards in 2014.
