One wounded in attack on university prep course building in SE Turkey

One person was wounded when an attacker opened fire on a building where university prep courses are held in the province Şırnak in southeastern Turkey Saturday evening, daily Hürriyet reported.The man, who has not been identified so far, approached the building wearing a black burqa, and opened fire. Students had just left the building, but the building’s security guard, Muhammed Akyol, was shot once in the shoulder, and was immediately taken to the hospital.
A police investigation has revealed that a total of 13 bullets struck the building, but has so far failed to identify or locate the attacker. The search continues in the area.
