One soldier killed in Turkey’s Diyarbakır

One specialized sergeant was killed on March 8 during operations against outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants in the Lice district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, Doğan News Agency has reported.Four PKK militants were also killed in the operations, the agency said.
Separately, the Turkish Armed Forces said in a statement that six PKK militants were “neutralized” and that one car bomb was destroyed in the operations.
