No Israeli friendship group

Presidents and members of inter-parliamentary friendship groups are being
selected in the Parliament. Not even one deputy has applied to the Israel
Friendship Group, therefore it will not be formed this legislative term. The
Israel Friendship Group’s head last term was AKP deputy Nursuna Memecan; she
will be heading the British Friendship Group this term. The American Friendship
Group was again the center of attraction. AKP deputy Ömer Çelik will head it.
Head of the German Friendship Group is one of prime minister’s former executive
assistants, Çağatay Kılıç. Erdoğan’s advisor Yalçın Akdoğan is to become head of
Iraq Friendship Group. Ayşenur Bahçekapılı is expected to head the Cuba
Friendship Group.
