Newborn Mediterranean monk seal monitored
MUĞLA
A Mediterranean monk seal pup, born in a cave, has been photographed as part of a monitoring project, implemented by the Mediterranean Conservation Society in the western province of Muğla’s Gökova Bay for five years.
Among 600-700 Mediterranean monk seals in the world, some 100 are living in Turkish seas.
