Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's last-minute equalizer left visitors Turkey with a draw against European football giants Netherlands 1-1 in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying group match at Amsterdam Arena late March 28.

Turkey striker Burak Yılmaz scored the opening goal for his team in the 37th minute. Burak's shot went in after hitting Dutch defender Bruno Martins Indi in the area.

Two minutes into the stoppage time at the end of the game, the Netherlands' attacking midfielder Wesley Sneijder fired outside the box, and Dutch target man Huntelaar deflected the ball, wrong-footing the goalkeeper: 1-1.

The Netherlands dictated the tempo of the game in Amsterdam in general, but Turkey played in a disciplined way on the defensive end.

After the draw the positions of the both teams in standings did not change. The Netherlands, who are in third spot, raised their points to seven. Turkey are closely following Netherlands with five points.

Meanwhile Group A leaders Czech Republic also drew against Latvia 1-1 at Eden Stadium, in Prague.

Latvia took the lead in 30th minute when Aleksejs Visnakovs scored the opening goal. Home team Czech Republic snapped up the draw in 90th minute of the game after Vaclav Pilar found the net.

Czech Republic raised their points to 13 and maintained their lead in standings. Latvia are in fifth spot with three points.
