Nazarbayev calls for more concrete steps

Kazakhstan and Turkey have briefly agreed on several fields of cooperation and it is now time to follow up and build frameworks, Kazakhstan President Nazarbayev told visiting president of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, on Jan. 18. Nazarbayev and Hisarcıklıoğlu discussed the details of enhancing ties at the Presidential Palace in Kazakh capital Astana. The two countries reached many deals during hib recent visit to Turkey, Nazarbayev said. “Now it is important to follow them.”“We’re pleased to see the success of Kazakhstan and are ready to contribute to helping them achieve their 2050 goals,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said. He said the goal of raising mutual trade to $10 billion was important.
