Moscow Radio plays for Istanbul audience

Radio Moscow, an American psychedelic rock band from Story City, Iowa, will perform at garajistanbul. The band, which was formed in 2003 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Parker Griggs, currently features bassist Billy Ellsworth and live drummer Lonnie Blanton. Signed to Alive Naturalsound Records, the trio had released three full-length albums as of October 2011, with a fourth album due for release in April 2012. Radio Moscow is often compared stylistically to blues rock bands from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly fellow power trios like Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Blue Cheer.
