Mor ve Ötesi prepares for Ghetto gig

After months working on their soon-to-be-released studio album, mor ve ötesi will once again delight their fans with a surprise pre-release gig at Ghetto. The band is thrilled to perform a gig where they will ‘ghettogether’ with their audience and perform songs from the new album, prior to the album’s autumn release. Mor ve ötesi was founded in 1995 by four high school friends. Their first album ‘Şehir’ was released in June 1996 by Ada Müzik. Off the album, the first single “Yalnız Şarkı” and its corresponding video garnered popular interest and the album received critical acclaim. The third album “Gül Kendine,” the band’s most proficiently crafted work to date, was once again recorded and produced by Volkan Gürkan, and released in December 2001.
