Mold picks up awards at film festival

The 13th Frankfurt Film Fest has closed with Turkish-German co-production “Mold” (Küf) receiving three awards including best film, best actor and best director. This year the festival screened more than 40 films. The Frankfurt consul general presented the awards to the actors and directors.
 
Actors and actresses such as Zeki Alasya, Gülşen Bubikoğlu, Sadi Çilingir, Tunca Arslan, Füsun Kostak, Caner Ural and Deniz Yayın were among the guests of the film festival this year, which is supported by the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry and the Frankfurt Culture Attaché. The opening of the festival featured a concert by Kerem Görsev and Şevval Sam, and there were also panels and documentary screenings during the festival, along with a short film contest. In the competition section of the festival, films competed for a prize.
