Military exercise in Med

The United States, Israel and Greece have started a joint military exercise called “Noble Dina” in the eastern Mediterranean, according to Greek media reports. The exercise started March 26 at the Suda U.S. base on Crete and will last until April 5. The first phase will take place near the island of Meis, a small island close to the southern Turkish district of Kaş, and south of Cyprus before proceeding to Israel’s Haifa port. Greece was invited to the war games this yearby Israel and is participating with four F-16 jets, one frigate and one submarine.
