Man in central Turkey dies after self-immolating

A 32-year-old father of one died after self-immolating on Sept. 24, in the Central Anatolian province of Sivas.Mümtaz Yayman set himself alight after pouring fuel over his body in a picnic area in the city’s Kardeşler Tepe district.
He was immediately rushed to the nearby Cumhuriyet University hospital before being sent to the İzmir Bozyaka Education and Research Hospital in an ambulance helicopter. However, he later died in the hospital despite the efforts of doctors’ efforts.
The reason for his suicide attempt is not known.
