Malaysia has deported three Gülenists, says Turkish FM

Three wanted members of the Gülen movement, believed to be behind Turkey’s July 15 coup attempt, were deported from Malaysia on Oct. 13, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Oct. 14.Speaking at the opening ceremony of a hospital in Antalya, Çavuşoğlu said Malaysia sent back to Turkey three members of the group who took refuge in the country.
He noted that the deportations come just before the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is set to recognize the Gülenists as a terrorist group, following the Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) Oct. 13 addition of the Gülen movement to its terrorist organizations list.
