Malatya to host artists, directors

MALATYA

The fourth Malatya International Film Festival will be held this year between Nov. 15 and 21 in the eastern Anatolian province of Malatya.

The festival, supported by producers Osman Alkan and Hüseyin Hüsnü Kılıç, cinema historian Alin Taşçıyan, directors Nazif Tunç and Gökhan Yorgancıgil and academic Hülya Uçansu, will screen 130 films.

The films will include works from master directors, the latest examples from independent cinema, shorts and documentaries from Turkey and the world, national and international competition films and more.

Most of the screenings in the festival will take place with the attendance of directors and artists who will hold talks with the audience. The festival will also host other events.
