Lufthansa secures 85 pct in Austrian Airlines

Lufthansa, which agreed to buy a 41.56-percent stake in AUA from the Austrian government for 366,000 euros ($499,000), said its offer launched Feb. 27 had expired on Monday. The European Commission will issue a ruling by June 17.
