Local police chief fined by his junior for driving violation in northern Turkey

A police officer in the northwestern Turkish province of Bolu has fined his supervisor, the local police chief, for driving on the wrong side of the road, Doğan News Agency reported on March 5.
The police chief, Mehmet Aslı, was reportedly obliged to pay 108 Turkish Liras for violating traffic rules in his personal car on his day off.
Aslı’s vehicle was initially taken under monitoring and the local police station where he is chief ultimately decided to follow up the complaint about his driving.
