Lions visit top-notch newcomers

Galatasaray visits Balıkesirspor while defending champion Fenerbahçe hosts Gaziantepspor in the Spor Toto Super League’s third match day this weekend.The Lions will meet Balıkesirs on Sept 20. Also the same evening, Mersin İdman Yurdu meets Çaykur Rizespor. Earlier that day, Erciyesspor meets Akhisar.
On Sept. 21 evening, Fenerbahçe hosts Gaziantepspor. Earlier, Kasımpaşa takes on Karabük and Sivasspor meets Konyaspor.
After two match days, there are none less than six teams, Galatasaray, Akhisar, Gaziantepspor, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Eskişehirspor, with four points to lead the pack.
Beşiktaş, who was held to a 1-1 draw against Greece’s Asteras in the Europa league on Sept. 18, will meet Bursaspor on Sept. 22. Trabzonspor, who enjoyed a 2-1 win at Metalist Kharkiv also in the European competition, visits Istanbul Başakşehir also on Sept. 22.
