ISTANBUL - Anatolia News Agency
Main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu paid a visit to the Istanbul home of the family of a soldier who was killed recently in the southeast, and said the bloodshed must be stopped.“The martyr’s mother said that she hoped no more kids would die. She also said she wanted [Turkey’s people] to live under the same flag in peace. I share the same wish with all my heart. … We want to live in peace in this beautiful, heavenly country,” Kılıçdaroğlu said.
Sinan Şen was killed during a clash with suspected members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the southeastern province of Bingöl on April 24.
