Kids marketers gather in Istanbul

It is important to develop entertaining games as much as educational ones, said John White, the general manager of 4T2 Web Agency, one of the leading game developers in Britain, at a conference on marketing aimed at children, according to a press release.“Keep the games short not to lose attention of the kids and get their opinion,” he also said.
Online Kids Marketing, the sole conference on marketing aimed at children in Turkey, brought together national and international professionals to discuss “Kidsfluence – the influence of children on purchasing decisions of parents” Feb. 24 in Istanbul. Another prominent speaker at the conference was the Lego Systems Digital Strategy Manager, Brent Hill. Noting that Lego started out in 1978, Hill said that the digital revolution began in 1998 at the company. Since then, it has used online and offline channels together, he added.
The organizer of the conference is Tipeez.com, a leading online digital platform aimed at minors.
