Jehan Barbur to sing her new album at İzmir’s Bios

On her third album “Sarı” (Yellow), Jehan Barbur looks at life through a yellow filter. Babur produced “Sarı” herself, and also wrote most of the lyrics and music on the album. Born in Beirut, Barbur is a singer-songwriter with a unique style. She completed her studies in Turkey, and polished her career as a singer in the country. With Turkish veteran musician Bülent Ortaçgil as her mentor, Barbur released her 2009 debut “Uyan” (Wake Up), and later enjoyed more success with “Hayat” (Life), a collection of her classy, dreamy acoustic songs. Tonight she performs at İzmir’s Bios Bar at 10 p.m. Tickets are available at Biletix.
