Jazz in Ramadan hosts Focan
Jazz in Ramadan events hosts Önde Focan’s concert in the Sabancı Museum Garden. The concert starts at 9 p.m. Istanbul tradition of Jazz in Ramadan has returned with concerts to delight music fans throughout the holy month of fasting. The events opened with concerts from Kerem Görsev and İlhan Erşahin, and will continue tonight with the Omar Hakim and the Trio of Oz at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum. There will also be a calligraphy exhibition accompanying the concert events. The fourth Jazz in Ramadan event is being organized under the auspices of Tourism and Culture Minister Ömer Çelik. The museum’s garden is hosting many concerts this year, and along with the concerts the calligraphy exhibition “101 Faces of Orientalism” is free for the audiences.
