The Swedish musician and singer-songwriter, Jay-Jay Johanson, best known for his easily recognizable melancholic vocals and deep lyrics, is back with his brand new album, “Spellbound.” In 2007, Johanson released “The Long Term Physical Effects Are Not Yet Known” and in January 2008 he released “Self-Portrait.” When he started school at age 7, Jay-Jay was already considered a significant talent, mastering the piano, clarinet, saxophone and later even starting a punk group with his friends named “May Tuck.” A seasoned punk performer at 15, Johanson began to explore the world of jazz seriously.
