Italian jazz diva Mercedes Casali is taking the stage at club Alt tonight with her quartet.

Italian jazz diva Mercedes Casali is taking the stage at club Alt tonight with her quartet. The concert starts at 10:30 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Casali began her career in the performing arts at a very early age. Born into a theatrical family, Casali began acting at the age of five in her parents’ plays. Later turning her attention to jazz singing, Casali starting working with leading jazz musicians, and became a vocalist on the jazz guitarist Franco Cerri’s album Cerrimedioatutto. She is currently studying at the Jazz Department of the Milan Conservatory. Pianist Yiğit Özatalay got to know Casali while studying composition at the Conservatory – and the Mercedes Casali Quartet was born.
