Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) has launched a Turkish desk. Tehran-based IBNA held an opening ceremony for its new Turkish-language desk on March 14.IBNA’s editor-in-chief Ali Agha Ghaffar said the Turkish desk joins the agency’s Persian, Arabic, English and Spanish desks. Ghaffar expressed his belief that the IBNA’s desk would help to further develop cultural relations between Turkey and Iran, which already share a common history and culture.
IBNA Turkish Desk Editor Miranda Minas said that their goal is to reach not only Turkey but also other countries speaking the Turkish language. Minas noted that all of the agency’s news about books, literature and culture would be covered by the Turkish desk.
IBNA’s website stated that the agency covers news about books, publications and the print industry in- and outside of Iran. It aims to inform people about the latest updates in the publication industry in Iran.
