Inaba discusses research at Salt

Jeffrey Inaba will discuss the recent research projects led by his office INABA and those by C-Lab, a unit he directs at Columbia University, at SALT Beyoğlu’s Walk-in Cinema tonight. Inaba will be discussing the role of digital technology in cities, arguing that its best application is to enhance architectural technologies.

Inaba is the director of the Columbia Laboratory for Architectural Broadcasting (C-Lab), the features editor of Volume magazine, and the author of numerous publications, most recently “Adaptation:  Architecture, Technology and the City.” He is also the founder of INABA, an architecture office that specializes in giving form to content. He previously acted as principal at AMO, the research consultancy of OMA. In addition to being a faculty member at Columbia University, Inaba has taught at UCLA, Harvard, and SCI-Arc.
