'I discussed Syria with CIA chief,' Prime Minister Erdoğan says

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that he discussed Syria, Iraq and recent developments in the region with CIA's Director David Petraeus.Erdoğan replied questions of reporters after his press conference with Montenegro's Prime Minister Igor Luksic in Ankara today.
Regarding his meeting with Petraeus that took place yesterday, Erdoğan said that Petraeus had been the guest of Turkey's National Intelligence Agency (MİT), adding that they held a meeting upon request of Petraeus.
"We discussed recent developments in the region, especially Syria, Iraq and Iran," said Erdoğan.
Erdoğan said he did not give credit to rumors published in newspapers, when he was asked whether he and Patreus discussed the documents of a U.S. institution published in newspapers.
