Four people were injured when an unidentified man opened fire today during the extraordinary congress of Spor Toto Super League club Ankaragücü.The attacker was detained, police officials said, but his identity was not revealed.
Ankaragücü was holding a congress to elect a new chairman and administration following months of turmoil. Muhammet Haluk Ilıcan was eventually elected as the new chairman.
The club, whose last convention was canceled by a court decision, leaving the club practically without an administration, currently sits bottom of the standings.
