Greek MP, CHP EU representative call for more consistent, inclusive policy towards Turkey

A Greek lawmaker from the European Parliament and the EU representative of Turkey’s main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) have called on EU leaders for a “more consistent and inclusive policy” toward Turkey, ahead of a key summit in Brussels.In a video message, Greek MP and the deputy head of EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Commission Miltos Kyrkos and Kader Sevinç, the CHP’s EU representative, called for Brussels to develop a more strategic approach to Turkey, amid rising tensions in ties between the EU and Turkey.
EU leaders are scheduled to discuss relations with Turkey starting on Dec. 15 in Brussels.
