Golden Boll prepares for its 20th year

The Golden Boll Film Festival organized by the Adana Municipality takes place between September 16 and 22.

The Golden Boll Film Festival organized by the Adana Municipality will take place between September 16 and 22. The long film applications for the film festival competition will start on July 10. According to a written statement from the festival committee, work is still continuing and applications are to be made to www.altinkozafestivali.org.tr website with the application form.

The other competitions of the festival such as the Mediterranean countries short film contest and students’ film contest are also open for applications. The festival will have an exclusive 20th year anniversary program.

The festival will also hold a poster competition to present and announce the festival.

According to a written statement sent by the Adana Municipality, the competition will be titled “Adana Municipality Poster Competition,” and the aim is to announce the 20th Golden Boll. The winners will be given awards. The competition invites university students from the fields of visual arts and visual design to participate. The application period ends July 17.

Many artists and renowned figures from the cinema sector arrive at the ceremony every year, walking down the red carpet at the Merkez Park Amphitheater. The Golden Boll Film Festival had played a very significant role in the development of the Turkish film sector as well as in the promotion of the country abroad.
